| Nazywam się Dorota i uwielbiam się ruszać. Nie mogę wytrzymać długo w jednym miejscu, stale potrzebuję nowych bodźców i doświadczeń. Moją pasją jest nauka języków obcych – wierzę, że język jest jednym z głównych odzwierciedleń kultury i mentalności władających nim ludzi. Jak na chwilę obecną, oprócz ojczystego polskiego, znam język angielski, francuski, hiszpański, portugalski, niedawno rozpoczęłam naukę katalońskiego i ogromną satysfakcję sprawia mi posługiwanie się nimi w ich naturalnym „habitacie”. Interesuje mnie wszelako rozumiana sztuka: malarstwo, teatr, muzyka, architektura. Staram się śledzić aktualne wydarzenia, a także rozwój tak zwanych „problemów współczesnego świata”. Lubię poznawać odczucia i zdanie innych wobec tego, co dzieje się w ich otoczeniu. Pewnie dlatego właśnie tak bardzo pokochałam podróże, które łączą w sobie wszystkie te elementy. Do tej pory zamieszkiwałam bądź odwiedziłam kilkadziesiąt miast Francji, Belgii, Hiszpanii, Portugalii, Włoch, Holandii, Litwy, Białorusi, stolice Grecji, Czech i Węgier i mam nadzieję już niedługo wyruszyć poza Europę. Za sprawą znajomych obserwujących moje wyprawy postanowiłam założyć bloga, by na jego łamach publikować relacje z odbytych podróży oraz z największej „wycieczki”, jaką kiedykolwiek sobie zorganizowałam: usamodzielnienie się w obcym kraju na krańcu kontynentu. | My name is Dorota and I adore the movement. I cannot bear to stay in one place for too long, I feel a constant need of new incentives and experience. My great passion are foreign languages – I believe that a language is one of the main reflections of the culture and the mentality of nations. As for the moment, apart from Polish, my mother tongue, I speak English, French, Spanish, Portuguese, I also started learning Catalan recently, and I fell great pleasure in using them in their natural “habitat”. I am interested in art, in a wide sense of this notion: painting, theatre, music, architecture. I try to keep updated with current news and the development of so called “problems of the contemporary world”. I like getting to know the impressions and opinions of the people toward what is happening around them. This is probably why I took that much to travelling which unites all those elements. Until present, I have been living in or visiting several tens of towns in France, Belgium ,Spain, Portugal, Italy, Netherlands, Lithuania, Belarus, the capitals of Greece, Check Republic and Hungary and I hope to go outside of Europe soon. Encouraged by my friends, following my travels, I decided to start a blog where I would share the stories of the trips I made, as well as the story of the biggest “trip” I have ever carried out: becoming independent in a strange country on the other side of the continent. |
