Po sytym i pysznym śniadaniu w hostelu wyruszyliśmy na zwiedzanie miasta. Postanowiliśmy spokojnie pobłądzić po ulicach Faro, nie patrząc na mapę, więc odtworzenie naszej drogi zajęło mi trochę czasu.

After a full, delicious breakfast In the hostel, we went out to visit the city. We decided to wander around the Faro’s streets without really looking at the map, so retracing our way took me a while.

Aby zdążyć na ostatni pociąg do Faro (ok. 7 euro), musieliśmy, niestety, spędzić na Ponta da Piedade znacznie mniej czasu, niż byśmy chcieli. Już wcześniej zrezygnowaliśmy z podróży na sam koniuszek Algarve, czyli Cabo do São Vicente, najbardziej wysunięty na południe punkt Portugalii, gdyż zwyczajnie nie mielibyśmy na to czasu.

In order not to be late for the last train to Faro (around 7 euro), we unfortunately had to limit the time of our visit to the Ponta da Piedade. We had already given up the idea of the trip to the very edge of Algarve, that is Cabo do São Vicente, the most southern part of Portugal, because we simply wouldn’t be able to make it with scarce public transportation.

Nasz bardzo przyjazny szofer, z którym ucięliśmy sobie dłuższą pogawędkę o stanie portugalskiego społeczeństwa, wysadził nas na przedmieściach Portimão.

Our very friendly chauffeur, with whom we had a chat about the state of the Portuguese society, left us on the outskirts of Portimão.

3. Albufeira - kurort wiecznego disco / Albufeira - resort of eternal disco

Z naszym studentem Akademii Muzycznej, Sebastião, kierującym pojazd paląc jednocześnie kolejne skręty marihuany, przejechaliśmy brakujące 120-130 km w kierunku Albufeiry.

With our student of the Music Faculty, Sebastião, driving the car and smoking yet another cannabis joint, we have covered 120-130 km left to reach Albufeira.
